BBM: 10 Items or Less: Update
.Hang on...it's coming!
This is taking longer than anticipated, and for that I apologize.
I'm really, really close, so just hang in there a bit longer.
And because this is taking longer than projected, I'm extending the 'ship-by' date another week, so please don't start panicking (yet).
Below, you'll see a list of countries participating. If you happen to know the customs requirements for any of them, please leave your information in the comments. We all thank you in advance, and I promise it won't be long now!

10 Thoughts for food:
BELGIUM
If sending to Belgium it is not necessary to put on a customs label unless parcel weighs more than 2 kg. But if your post office insists, then make sure that you declare it as a Gift and don't give a detailed description (i.e. just write Gift there too). In general I always have to pay the standard fee (10eur) on all parcels from US (regardless of value). There is no restrictions food wise.
NEW ZEALAND
Honey is strictly prohibited as are fresh foods and any seeds. That means that sometimes the detectors pick up on spices. I think that nuts are another dodgy item but if they are commerciall prepared and packaged they are ok.
Here's a website to check out:

I just think it is amazing the amount of hard work and csre you put into this event to begin with. THANK YOU!!!!!
Hawaii really has no restrictions except for fresh fruit/produce.
CANADA
Here's the link to what I found: http://canadaonline.about.com/od/customs/qt/giftstocanada.htm
Duty free if mailing as a gift worth under $60. (incl. a card, indicating it's a gift - I suppose we polite Canadians just love cards...)
Exemption doesn't apply to alcohol.
Duty/taxes may have to be paid by the Canadian receiver.
PHILIPPINES - no restrictions, just declare gift but no details please. Very minimal duty charged to receiver.
For Australia, there are good guidelines here:
http://www1.auspost.com.au/international/
and heck, even for other countries too it seems!
This is very exciting!
SWEDEN-
remember to check the gift box, cost for total package should be declared lower than $50 so the reciever doesn't have to pay customs
If you are from another country or even another state, you SHOULD NOT ship fresh fruit, nuts or plants INTO California. There is a worry since CA is an agricultural state that pests, who could cause serious damage to the agriculture here, can and have hitch-hiked in packages with fruit/nuts.
Malaysia
Certain types of fresh fruits are prohibited. Generally there will be no duty tax. Keep the parcel small, tag the item as a gift and declare a low price for the item :)
If subjected to duty at the custom it has to be paid by the receiver.
Thanks, everyone, for all the help!!
