Summer's Here

.



I know that Memorial Day is the 'official' start of summer. That's fine, but in our house, summer began a few weeks earlier with this gorgeous Strawberry Shortcake.

Big juicy berries, tossed with vanilla sugar, cream whipped with vanilla sugar (hindsight says I should have used cinnamon sugar because...), and cinnamon scones.

Just fabulous.
