Alex turned five Friday, and had his party Sunday.
It was superhero-themed, and we held it at the Children's Museum. There was food and cake, and after presents, the kids were free to explore the museum, which is very hands-on. A two-story doll house big enough for the kids to play in, rocket ships, castles, a water table and more.
The kids were encouraged to dress as superhereoes. Can you guess who Alex was?
Mild-mannered preschooler by day, faux muscle-bound hero by night!
This month, Blog Party's all about the ultimate hand-held food & having a Pizza Party!
Top your pies...full-sized and sliced, or in miniature form...any way you want, pour yourself a drink, and join the party. You have till this Thursday, 20 March, to RSVP...hope to see you there!

10 Thoughts for food:
That cake is amazing! You did a fantastic job. Its awesome! I so loved the picture of your son with his costume on eating his blizzard too. Its good to know my kids arent the only ones dressing as heroes most of the day. Brody's latest is Buzz. Needs to be Buzz 24/7.
That is probably the coolest birthday party theme I've ever heard of! I'd like one for an adult party, too!
The cake is amazing! What a lucky little fella you have.
How gorgeous!! Happy birthday Alex!
Happy Birthday, Alex! The cake looks incredible, Stephanie.
My godson! Looks like a Real Man now! Congratulations on your fifth year, Mr. Kent

Slush...thank you!
Alex doesn't often dress like that; it was kind of a special thing. But I don't see anything wrong with it!
Mrs. W, I think it would be awesome for adults, too! Maybe we'll do one one day.
Thanks, cakelaw!
Nupur...thank you!
Auntie Elizabeth; can you believe how big he is now? Little man, indeed.
