It's not the first time I've made brioche, but this one?
Light, and oh-so buttery. Just perfect.
And that brioche?
Used for BLT's on Toasted Brioche with Aioli and Basil.
I'm very much a soup-and-sandwich kind of gal, so of course I had to make a little something to go with.
Turned to Donna Hay again, this time for her Roasted Capsicum (Pepper) Soup.
Is that not a gorgeous color??
Roasted red peppers and tomatoes, pureed with vegetable broth, topped with basil (from the garden!)...Matt got to have a bit of grated Asiago on his, as well (less than a week left till I can eat dairy again!).
