Parmesan and Prosciutto, a perfect combination
.A very fast dinner from last week; a Parmesan and prosciutto tart.
Eggs, milk, cream, parsley (from the garden!), Parmesan cheese, and prosciutto, poured into a store-bought pie crust; baked till set and golden. I substituted Morningstar Farms vegetarian bacon for prosciutto in the pie Alex and I ate.
While not as good as the all-cheese tart I've made several times before, it was still pretty good. Quickly prepared, and fairly filling. And as it's only three eggs for an entire tart, it's not that bad for you!
